| Constructed stone-by-stone through the prayerful offerings of men, women and children from across the world, and declared by Pope John II as a "house of pilgrimage" the Shrine was dedicated on August 22, 1993. The Marian church seats 2,000 people. The Shrine is the largest in the Southeast US. | |

Built in 1890, the courtroom has been remodeled twice since then. The last was done in 1994 by Disney. The courtroom has been the scene of trials of everything from early day cattle thieves to modern day murderers. The courthouse has been totally renovated.

It was the first planned community developed by The Walt Disney Company. Celebration is a true planned community including a downtown, health center, school, post office, town hall, golf course, single family homes, townhouses and apartments. Disney has since sold the project. |

Take a tour of the grounds and inside the plant. A significant part of Kissimmee's history. Kissimmee first started generating electricity with a 15kw generator and customers were first charged by the number of light bulbs they used! Then came diesel and now natural gas.The first part of the building also included the jail. |
